The OPPO Reno6 series will be arriving in the country soon, bringing with it the Reno65G and the Reno6 Z 5G.
We received press releases from OPPO Malaysia confirming that devices will be arriving soon and both phones will be unsurprisingly photography-focused devices. The features that have been confirmed by OPPO include Bokeh Flare Portrait, Cinematic Bokeh Flare Portrait Video, AI Highlight and more.
The company didn’t disclose the phones’ list of hardware – but if we use the Thai variant of the Reno6 Z as reference, the phone will sport a MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset, 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone packs a 6.4-inch FHD+ 60Hz AMOLED panel, and a 64MP triple lens setup.
Meanwhile, OPPO India lists the Reno6 as packing a MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G chipset, along with 8GB of memory. The phone also features a 5GB RAM expansion tech to increase your phone’s memory when under heavy load.
The Reno6 comes with a larger 6.55-inch FHD+ panel, which is inconsistent with its GSM Arena listing which says it has 1 6.43-inch 90Hz panel instead.
There’s no word on the pricing of the devices, but we won’t have to wait long until we learn of the local variants, and how much they’ll cost. Stay tuned on our website for more information.
