The OPPO Reno3 and Reno3 Pro were China-exclusives when they first launch late last year; they came very soon after the global release of the Reno2 – we’re assuming, part of the reason for the in the Reno3’s global launch is to allow customers some room to breathe amidst the flurry of phone releases.

Today, the global variant of the Reno3 Pro is launched and it packs several differences from the Chinese version to possibly justifies its delayed launch. The device’s design remains mostly unchanged, except of course for a dual selfie module at the front placed in a rectangular punch hole cut-out. The Chinese variant only has a single punch hole lens.

Internally, it packs a Mediatek Helio P95 chipset, meaning it won’t have 5G support like its Chinese counterpart, which had a Snapdragon 765G. It also has 8GB of RAM instead of up to 12GB, along with up to 256GB of internal storage.

For cameras, it’s also different it has a 64MP main lens that’s accompanied by a 13MP telephoto lens, a 2MP mono shooter and an 8MP ultrawide lens. For selfies, you get a whopping 44MP main lens – which is the highest in the market right now, beating out the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra’s 40MP shooter. You also get a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh effects.

The phone has a 4,025mAh battery and can support up to 30W of VOOC Flash Charge. Plus, the phone is available in a more mature set of colour options – Auroral Blue, Midnight Black and Sky White.
