While the OPPO Reno2 is launching in Malaysia next week, OPPO had another launch event in China yesterday, revealing the Reno Ace with flagship specs.
The Reno Ace is similar to the Reno2 when it comes to its size. It has a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and features 90Hz refresh rate, in addition to a waterdrop notch that houses a 16MP selfie lens. Apart from that, the Reno Ace is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Following the trend, the Reno Ace also houses a quad camera setup on its rear. Its 48MP main camera is accompanied by a 13MP telephoto camera capable of 5X hybrid zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP monochrome lens.
The Reno Ace is available in two colours — Psychedelic Purple and Starry Blue. It is priced at CNY2,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and goes up to CNY3,799 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. OPPO also announced the Reno Ace Gundam Edition but has not revealed its price and availability.
