OPPO has launched the latest addition to the R series in Malaysia today and it’s none other than the long awaited R17 Pro.
The R17 Pro comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a notch that houses the front camera. The smartphone supports dual sim and it’s made with Corning Gorilla Glass 6, and its fingerprint unlock is located on its screen, known as the Hidden Fingerprint Unlock. It is powered by the Snapdragon 710 processor and it has 8GB RAM with 128GB storage.
In terms of camera, OPPO upgraded its smartphone by providing the R17 Pro with a triple camera setup that has 12+20MP rear camera and also a TOF camera. The camera has OIS and smart aperture which can vary between f/1.5 aperture and f/2.4 aperture depending on the brightness of the environment. In addition to that, the smartphone is equipped with AI Ultra-clear Engine which is an image-enhancing technology that can produce better night or lowlight shots by increasing the image quality. The smartphone’s TOF camera can measure distance and length, providing higher precision for photos taking.
The smartphone comes with a 3700mAh battery which supports SuperVOOC Flash Charge. The R17 Pro’s SuperVOOC Flash Charge enables the smartphone to be charged from 0% to 40% in just 10 minutes and its certified to be safe for the fast charging because it has a bi-cell design.
The smartphone comes in Radiant Mist and Emerald Green and will cost RM 2,699. It can be pre-ordered on 23 November onwards at OPPO Official Concept Stores and authorised dealer stores and Celcom Blue Cube, Senheng and senQ. For those who are purchasing online, the R17 Pro can be preordered at Lazada, Shopee and 11Street. OPPO will also be giving a free Olive Neo sportband that costs RM 389 to all the customers who pre-orders the R17 Pro.
