OPPO recently launched the OPPO R17 Pro, but in a few more days, OPPO will launch the New Year edition of the R17 and R17 Pro in China.
On 17 December, OPPO is going to reveal the R17 and R17 Pro New Year edition. The New Year edition of the R17 and R17 Pro might include bundled gift, customised retail box, new colour and new themes for the UI, and will probably cost a bit more than the original variants.
The OPPO R17 comes with a 6.4-inch FullHD+ display and is powered by a Snapdragon 670 processor. It comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and has a 3500mAh battery. Camera wise, the phone has a dual rear camera setup whereby it uses 16MP+5MP sensors, whereas the front camera is a 25MP Sony IMX576 sensor.
On the other hand, the OPPO R17 Pro comes with a 6.4-inch FullHD+ display that supports in-display fingerprint sensor, and it is powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor. It also has 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and it has dual battery that adds up to 3700mAh which supports Super VOOC Flash Charge. The R17 Pro comes with three cameras on its back which consists of a 12MP sensor, a 20MP sensor and a TOF 3D camera. On its front, the phone comes with a 25MP front camera.
There are also no information on whether the phones will be released to other countries other than China, but let’s hope that OPPO will do so so that global users are given the option to enjoy the expected new colour of the OPPO R17 and R17 Pro.
