OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro launched in Malaysia priced from RM3,999 – and both variants support 5G

The much-anticipated OPPO Find X2 series flagship has been launched today in Malaysia and is available in two variants – the OPPO Find X2 and the Find X2 Pro.

Both devices pack a 6.7-inch OLED panel that pushes a 1440p resolution and is capable of a high refresh rate of 120Hz. It supports a 240Hz touch sample rate along with the new O1 Ultra Vision Engine which reduces motion blur when watching videos and playing games.

The Find X2 comes in Ocean, which is a glass finish, and Black which is a ceramic finish. The Find X2 Pro has the same black variant along with the Orange which is vegan leather.

When it comes to photography, the OPPO Find X2 Pro takes things up a notch with a two 48MP lenses (Sony IMX689 and Sony IMX586) alongside a 13MP telephoto lens. The Sony IMX689 lens is capable of the all-pixel omnidirectional focusing technology that allows for faster focusing and brighter images compared to regular PDAF.

The regular Find X2 replaces the Sony IMX689 48MP sensor with a 12MP ultrawide sensor instead while retaining the other two cameras. For selfies, both phones sport a 32MP front-facing lens.

Under the hood, the both devices are equipped with a Snapdragon 865 chipset with 5G support, yes both smartphones support 5G connectivity. Both also support up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM – the Pro gets up to 512GB internal storage, while the regular variant gets up to 256GB of storage.

The Find X2 Pro has a 4,260mAh battery while the Find X2 has a smaller 4,200mAh pack – both devices support up to 65W of Super VOOC 2.0 Flash Charge, which OPPO claims can fully power your Find X2 in 38 minutes. The phones ship with Android 10 with ColorOS 7.1 layered on top.

The OPPO Find X2 is priced at RM3,999 while the Find X2 Pro is priced at RM4,599 – pre-orders for the Find X2 ends this 13 March while the Find X2 Pro ends this 20 March. Both devices will net you a powerbank, a one-year extended warranty for the phone, plus a 90-day screen protection warranty. The first 300 people to collect their phones this 14 March, they will also walk away with a pair of OPPO Enco Free Buds for free!
