As OPPO is set to launch it’s new selfie phone really soon over here, the company has sent out a teaser stating that apart from having the colors of Solar Red and Moonlight Silver, the F7 is going to be available in a very special Diamond Black color option, which brings back the diamond texture design that we once saw on the older R1x, this is definitely going to appeal to some users who have been looking for a change in smartphone design, and probably forget about the notch on the front.
The Oppo F7 is a major update from the previous F5, which got a price cut today, the phone will be powered by a beefier MediaTek Helio P60 processor, supported by 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and comes with 64GB and 128GB storage in respective to the amount of RAM. As for the cameras, it isn’t surprising to find a new and even higher resolution front facing camera at 25-megapixel, while the main camera is still a rather impressive 16-megapixel f/1.8 sensor, which should be the same hardware as the one found on the Oppo F5. However, the F7 might still disappoint with the lack of Oppo’s VOOC charging and it is still using a MicroUSB port instead of USB-C.
