Another year another “flagship killer from OnePlus – today sees the launch of the highly-anticipated OnePlus 7 Pro device. As standard, OnePlus packs their flagship devices with the latest gear – and this year’s version does the same and then some.
The OnePlus 7 Pro is a 6.67-inch phone with Fluid AMOLED panel with curved edges – what sets it apart from other flagships that this display is capable of pushing 90hz refresh rate, so scrolling will feel buttery smooth.
Moving over to the back is a gorgeous glass back that is either matte or glossy depending on the colour you choose. Plastered on the back panel is a triple-lens setup (48MP main + 16MP ultrawide + 8MP telephoto lens with OIS support). The phone also comes with 3-times optical zoom and is capable of shooting 4K videos.
On the front is the phone’s pop-up 16MP selfie camera with EIS. The lens is capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30fps.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 7 Pro comes with the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 855. As for memory configurations, your options include 6GB, 8GB or 12GB of RAM along with either 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.0 internal storage.
The phone supports an in-screen fingerprint scanner and face recognition, while for audio you get dual Dolby Atmos stereo speakers. When it comes to gaming, the phone is equipped with what OnePlus calls Fnatic Mode – that’s right, the game optimization app is named after e-sports partner Fnatic.
The phone comes with a 4,000mAh battery that’s charged via USB-C. The phone, of course supports Warp Charge 3 – OnePlus claims that you charge the phone from zero to 40 percent within 20 minutes – impressive.
The OnePlus 7 Pro ships with Oxygen OS based on Android 9. The phone is available in three colours – Mirror Gray, Nebula Blue and Almond. The phone is priced at RM2,999 for the RM3,999 for the 6+128GB variant; 8+256GB variant; and RM4,199 for the 12+256GB.
You can purchase the phone at OnePlus partner retailers DirectD, allIT, TMT, Satu Gadget as well as pre-order the phone online on Shopee.
