OnePlus is about to catch up to OPPO and realme’s fast charging technology, aiming to offer phones with 65W charging speeds in the future.
In a screenshot discovered by MySmartPrice, TUV Rheinland’s certification website has revealed that there will be a OnePlus charger that supports 65W charging. If it’s going to be included with OnePlus’s upcoming phone, then it can be assumed that it will be the OnePlus 8T.

However, Android Authority also pointed out that it’s possible for the phone manufacturer to produce a 65W charger but a lower charging speed for the phone — that’s what happened to the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro that has a 65W charger but only supports up to 50W charging speed.
With more flagships coming with 5G in the future, bigger batteries and faster-charging speeds are a must.
