After much speculation, OnePlus has finally announced the launch date for its late 2017 flagship. The OnePlus 5T, which has been rumored and teased for the last couple of weeks, will be unveiled next week on November 16, with its pending release to select regions by the end of this month.
2017 marks the third year in which OnePlus has launched two devices. Back in 2015, the company launched the OnePlus 2 and the OnePlus X, while last year saw the launch of the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. The Chinese startup will carry on the trend over to this year, having launched the OnePlus 5 a few months ago.
The OnePlus 5T won’t differ very significantly from its predecessor. However it will feature a larger 6-inch display in an 18:9 aspect ratio, along with rumored camera upgrades. The Snapdragon 835 processor will likely be retained, and it will be similar sized to the OnePlus 5.
After the Brooklyn launch on November 16, the OnePlus 5T will be available for sale in the US and Europe starting November 21, with the upcoming handset heading to India and China on November 28 and December 1 respectively. We are only a little over a week away so sit tight!
