The OnePlus 5 is probably one of the most anticipated phones to look out for this summer. Countless rumors, renders and attempted concept images of OnePlus’ upcoming flagship have surfaced among the interwebs over the past couple of months, picking up the pace as of late. According to a post on Twitter by OnePlus, the company might or might not have revealed the color options of the OnePlus 5.
OnePlus has played the color game with its fans when it launched the Midnight Black edition of the OnePlus 3T, tapping into consumers’ desires for a beautiful matte black smartphone. It looks like OnePlus is bringing that to the next level with the OnePlus 5, if the post on Twitter happens to be a teaser.
OnePlus showed off 4 colors on its Twitter post, with the caption “What 5hould the color of your next phone be?” The first color is probably the Midnight Black color that the OnePlus 3T offered for a limited time. The second color seems to have some crazy gradient going on from pink to turquoise, possibly inspired by a unicorn, as “hinted” by OnePlus in a reply on Twitter. The third color is a bold red, similar to Apple’s product Red line, and last but not least, what seems to be Soft Gold, available with the OnePlus 3T as well.
The unicorn color option seems out of the question, given its unconventional but unique touch. But the rest of the colors seem very much possible from a company by OnePlus. What do you think of the colors? Let us know which one is your favorite!
