With leaks, rumors and hints pouring in like the rain as of late, the OnePlus 5 is predicted to be unveiled very soon. OnePlus has finally broke news on the phone’s launch date on Twitter. It is now confirmed that we will be seeing the launch of the OnePlus 5 two weeks from now on the 20th of June.

With the date out, a new render has emerged on the web, courtesy of the folks at Android Police. The image above shows an alleged render of OnePlus’ upcoming flagship, which is claimed to be an accurate image. This render of the OnePlus 5 however, differs from previous leaks, notably in the design of the dual camera setup. Previous leaked renders show the OnePlus 5 with a vertical dual rear camera configuration, but this one sports a horizontal setup instead. This new render makes the alleged OnePlus 5 look very much like an iPhone, as far as the rear panel goes.

Regardless, it is a simple yet sleek design, and most of us are definitely looking forward to a non-limited edition of the Midnight Black OnePlus 5 as seen above. Apart from the fact that the handset will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor underneath the hood, other details and specs haven’t been officially revealed.

We’ll hope to receive more news and updates like this one prior to the OnePlus 5’s launch this coming June 20. What do you think of this new render?
