The OnePlus 3 seems to be the very next device anticipated by fans worldwide. The startup garnered quite a number of followings in 2014, after it unveiled its first device, the OnePlus One, dubbed the “flagship killer”. The handset, which sported flagship specs but at only half the price of most flagships, was then followed up by the OnePlus 2 a year later. OnePlus also launched the glass-bodied OnePlus X, an attractive 5-inch screen mid-range smartphone.
We’ve recently come across an alleged OnePlus 3 camera sample by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, boasting an attractive bokeh effect and great aperture. This time, an employee from within OnePlus has revealed the price of the upcoming flagship to the folks at GizmoChina. The source claimed that the OnePlus 3 will be priced starting at 1,999 CNY (RM1,210.90), which is will be slightly cheaper than the OnePlus 2 when it was initially launched.
Furthermore, the insider also revealed that the OnePlus 3 will be launched in two variants, with the 1,999 CNY priced variant being the less flashier of the two when it comes to specs. The “lower-end” model will be sporting 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage while the more premium model will have 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Both variants however, will still feature the Snapdragon 820 processor underneath the hood. We’re also guessing that the rest of the specs will remain the same in both models, however there is no info regarding the price tag of the latter.
