With the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti already on shelves around Malaysia, many of us who do not want the highest end RTX cards are waiting for the mid-high end cards, specifically the RTX 2070 and RTX/GTX 2060. We might have to wait for a while more before we hear anything about the RTX/GTX 2060, but Nvidia GeForce Malaysia has just announced the availability of the RTX 2070.
Based on their post, the card will be on shelves starting October 17 and will retail for $499 or $599 for the Founders Edition cards. Taking into account the non-Founders Edition card, the partner cards should retail for around RM2100 – RM2500 based on direct conversion. The card will come with 2304 CUDA Cores, core clock of 1410MHz, boost clock of 1620MHz, 8GB of GDDR6 RAM, 7.5 TFLOPs of computing power and a TDP of 175 watts. It is also based off the Turing architecture which should support DSAA and Ray-Tracing graphics.

As of now, there is no mention of any companies that will be producing these RTX 2070 cards yet. We should get more news in the coming weeks but based on our assumption, we expect Asus, Gigabyte, MSI and Zotac to announce pre-orders for the RTX 2070 cards soon.
