There aren’t many gaming phones out there but there will be, especially since the number of mobile gamers just keep increasing. Nubia has already launched several gaming phones in the past, and now the company is launching the Nubia Red Magic 3.
Nubia does its best to make the Red Magic 3 a worthy gaming phone, and it is apparently the first phone to come with a built-in fan. Just like some gaming PCs, the phone uses a liquid cooling system paired with a fan to prevent overheating.
In addition, the Red Magic 3 has a 6.65-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz screen refresh rate, and it has a headphone jack and a fingerprint sensor on its back. It also features dual front-facing speakers for a good audio experience and has capacitive sides which can function as shoulder buttons. Apart from that, the phone also has a 48MP main camera paired with a 16MP front camera.
The Red Magic 3 also ships with Android 9 Pie, in addition to sporting a Snapdragon 855 chipset that almost guarantees a smooth sailing performance. It also comes in two configurations — 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. It has a hefty 5,000mAh battery that charges via USB-C, so it will definitely be able to support extensive gaming hours.
The Red Magic 3 starts at the price of $479, which is around RM2,007 when you convert it to Malaysian Ringgit.
