It looks after a long period of silence, Nubia has just confirmed that the company is planning to build a gaming phone. Nubia CEO Ni Fei, mentioned this during a King of Glory held a gaming event recently in Shenzhen, China.
He did not reveal any information on the upcoming phone but speculations point to the Nubia Z18 which will be built to handle intensive games. The Z18 is rumoured to come with a Snapdragon 845 and 8GB of RAM, as the Nubia Z17 and Z17S comes equipped with the same amount of RAM. During the gaming event in China, players were seen using an unidentified phone to play the game, but it could very well be the Z18 or last year’s Nubia Z17S. All we can see is that it comes with very narrow bezels.
Following in the footsteps of the Razer Phone, the Nubia Z18 might come with a high refresh rate screen which is a very useful feature when playing games as it improves response rates as well.
