Nothing has launched two new wireless earbuds that sports premium features and superb battery life, they are the Nothing Ear and Ear (a), they continue to feature the company’s signature transparent design, the Ear (a) in particular features a striking yellow color model that’s rather unique.
The Nothing Ear is the successor to the Ear (2), which we expect Nothing to continue using such name for its successor moving forward, the earbuds feature premium 11mm ceramic drivers that offers more richness and clarity, the earbuds’ diaphragm’s movement has been increased by 110% compared to the Ear (2) for even deeper bass.
Other features include 24-bit Hi-Res audio streaming with LDAC and LHDC support, 45dB Smart Active Noise Cancellation, an advanced equaliser with 8-band EQ, ChatGPT integration and up to 40.5 hours of listening time with the case.
Interestingly, the Ear (a)’s feature set is rather similar to the Ear despite being a more affordable model, though it doesn’t feature a premium ceramic driver like the Ear and an advanced 8-band EQ, it still has a large 11mm driver that has double the power of the Ear (2), battery life is longer than the Ear with up to 42.5 hours of listening time with the case, and 9.5 hours of playback time with ANC off.
The Nothing Ear and Ear (a) retails for RM659 and RM479 respectively in Malaysia. Meanwhile, the Ear (stick) has been dropped from the product line up.
