Carl Pei’s Nothing is setting up shop here in Malaysia and we’ll be the first in the region to welcome the new Nothing Ear (1) earbuds, the brand’s first-ever product.
To celebrate, there will be a giveaway contest happening on their new Shopee page – and you’ll need to follow and share the page to participate.
There are three tiers of rewards that correspond to the number of followers gained – RM50 vouchers + 50 Shopee Coins for 1,000 followers, RM100 vouchers + 100 Shopee Coins for 2,000 followers, and 1x Nothing Ear (1) for 3,000 followers.
For the uninitiated, there’s plenty of hype surrounding Nothing, which stems from Pei’s reputation as OnePlus’ co-founder. The device was unveiled in July and offers quite the unique design thanks to its partly transparent body and charging case.
Elsewhere, the earbuds offer “advanced bass, mid, and treble performance” with their 11.6mm drivers; three high-definition mics, and it can drown out wind noise that travel up to 40km/h.
On top of that, there’s ANC – you can choose between Light and Maximum modes depending on how much noise you want to cut out.
In terms of battery life, the Ear (1) offers up to 4 hours of listening time with ANC turned on, or up to 5.7 hours with the feature disabled. The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.2 and has an IPX4 water-resistance rating.
