Great news for those of you that have the Nokia 3, 5, 6 and 8 as these phones have been confirmed to receive the new Android Oreo update in the near future. This information comes from Juho Sarvikas, HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer’s tweet.
Although there is no time frame given, we should expect the update to come soon seeing as how all these phones are running on the stock interface so the change to the new Android should be smoother compared to other phones that have their own interface. However, signs point to the update coming by the end of the year as most manufacturers have already mentioned that they will be releasing the update by the fourth quarter. The new update will bring more stability to the OS as well as the latest Android Security Patch.
