When Nokia made a comeback, they were greeted with open arms by the entire world, but after users tried or bought their phones, they realized that the camera app was lacking features that could possibly enhance the decent cameras on the phone. Well, if you own any of the phones then you are in for a treat as the camera app will be getting an update.
Juho Sravikas, Global Chief Product Manager of HMD has confirmed that the Nokia devices will be getting an update for the camera app. This comes from his reply to an enquiry of a Twitter user who asked if the camera app is going to be updated and Sarvikas replied with a simple “Yep!”. He also goes on to hint that they would at least bring some features of the Lumia Camera UI to its smartphones.

He did not mention when this update will come or what features will be added but there are some speculations that it will come with the Oreo update and the phones that will be updated is the Nokia 3, 5, 6 and 8.
