After a messy divorce from Microsoft, it seems that Nokia is getting ready to make a grand return to the market. To that end, a senior Nokia executive has stated that the company will be releasing at least three devices by the year’s end.

Mike Wang, President of the Joint Management Team for Nokia China, has reportedly revealed to the Chinese Media that Nokia will be releasing its own smartphones and tablets by the fourth quarter of 2016. Said smartphones and tablets will be designed by HMD, the Finnish company made up of ex-Nokia and ex-Microsoft employees that bought the licensing rights to the Nokia brand. Manufacturing tasks will then be passed over to Foxconn.

While Wang did not reveal anything specific about the nature of these devices, rumour has it that Nokia is looking to launch two premium smartphones, both of which will run on Android 7.0 Nougat. Both of the phones are expected to feature a 5.2 and 5.5″ QHD OLED displays, a Snapdragon 820 processor, a 22.6MP camera, and a metal body with water and dust resistance.
