HMD Global is skipping a refreshed launch of the Nokia 7 and going straight with the release of Nokia 7 Plus. This information comes from leaked slides that showed the image of the 7 Plus and some of the specs that will come with the phone.
Nokia is upgrading the processor to a Snapdragon 660 and it will come with a bigger 6-inch, 18:9 aspect ratio, but they are still retaining the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There is still no news on the 6GB variant but we will keep our eyes peeled. The biggest change is with the cameras as they will be including a dual camera setup which comes in a 12MP + 13MP configuration and 2x zoom. The front will be a 16MP camera with a Tetracell sensor and all the cameras will be using Carl Zeiss lenses.
There is still no date on when the Nokia 7 Plus will arrive to consumers but we might get some news about the new phone during MWC 2018 which will be happening at the end of the month.
