For the few of you who have yet to acquire the Pokémon Go app via an APK and was hoping to get it through legitimate means, you’re going to have to wait a little while longer as Niantic has officially announced that the company will be putting the global rollout of Pokémon Go on hold for now.

Ever since the game was officially released in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand, Pokémon Go’s servers have been on the receiving end of a beating as thousands, if not millions, of people were attempting to access the game. Not helping matters is the fact that the APK for the game was leaked, allowing users from other regions where Pokémon Go has yet be released to gain access to the game. This led to the Pokémon Go servers being constantly underload with many being unable to log into the game themselves.
As such, Niantic has announced that international rollouts of Pokémon Go will be suspended for now until the company manages to fix the server capacity. “We thought the game would be popular, but it obviously struck a nerve,” says John Hanke, CEO of Niantic.
