New Pokemon RPG confirmed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch

With the close of Nintendo’s E3 conference, we have still not heard about an exclusive Pokemon game from them which everyone was expecting is the rumored Pokemon Stars game but all we got is the announcement of Pokken Tournament DX that is coming to Switch. Tsunekazu Ishihara, Pokemon Company president confirmed that Game Freak has begun development on a core RPG Pokemon game exclusive to the Switch.

Other than that, Nintendo also announced the updated 3DS versions of Pokemon Sun and Moon and a release date for Super Mario Odyssey, an announcement on a new Yoshi and Kirby for the Switch and more details on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild future DLC packs.

They have not mentioned what the new Pokemon game will be about but lets hope that it would be a new IP for the Pokemon games as they tend to release the same game with different mechanics and they also tend to milk their franchises as much as they can, but it looks like third-party game developers for the console will be the reason I will get a Switch, what’s yours? Let’s discuss.
