After a really long time, Apple has finally updated their iMac line of desktop computers and this time they are going all out. The iMac Pro is a beast of a computer and this is not just shown on the specs, but international media groups have already reviewed the computer and they had good things to say about the performance.
The iMac Pro comes with up to an 18-core Xeon processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 4.5GHz, Radeon Pro Vega with 8GB or 16GB HBM with a total of 400GB/s memory bandwidth and up to a whopping 128GB of 2666MHz DDR4 ECC memory. The 4TB SSD will offer you all the space you need to store all your project files and raw footage for editing and there are four Thunderbolt 3 ports alongside a 10GB ethernet port for fast upload and download speeds to your NAS or work server. The screen is a 27-inch 5K Retina display with P3 colour with support for over one billion colours and 500 nits of brightness for true-to-life images. The speakers have also been improved with a broad frequency response, rich bass and more volume so for those of you that do audio editing.The iMac will come in Space Grey and with that, they have also updated the colours of the Magic Keyboard which has a numeric keybaord and the Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Trackpad all in the same Space Grey colour. The iMac Pro will release in Malaysia tomorrow, 14 December 2017 and the price will be revealed tomorrow as well, just don’t expect it to be cheap.
