The new 4K Apple TV’s remote could have haptic feedback

Apple is all set to announce some new products like the new iPhone and another is the new Apple TV which looks to have some pretty neat features. Guilherme Rambo once again took a dive into the codes over the past weekend and found some interesting features that might come with the remote for the Apple TV.

What he found was settings for features like Actuator Calibration, Force Calibration and Vibe Waveforms. All these features point to haptic feedback which one would assume would be in the remote. It’s not clear what exactly will be put into the remote but if this haptic feedback is true then it would mean that we would be getting a similar feel to what the iPhone’s Taptic Engine offers. However, there is still no news on if this new feature addition would bring about a change in the design of the Apple TV remote.

Now I am not a fan of Apple, but I do admire the software and hardware that they have provided to us even if the price is premium. I am also most looking forward to seeing what they will be offering with the Apple TV, see you on the live stream which is happening around 1 AM tomorrow Malaysia time.
