MWC 2017: MediaTek's Helio X30 processor will be making its way to the market in Q2 2017

After the reveal that MediaTek’s 10-core Helio X30 processor will be available first on the Vernee Apollo 2 smartphone, MediaTek has finally announced that the Helio X30 will be coming to more smartphones by the second quarter of 2017.

Following the original announcement of the processor back in September, MediaTek has formally announced that the Helio X30 processor has entered the mass production stages. Assuming that everything goes well, this deca-core processor can soon be found on devices that will be launched during the second quarter of the year. 

The MediaTek Helio X30 processor is MediaTek’s first deca-core processor that is manufacturered using the 10nm manufacturing process. The processor itself sports three seperate clusters of cores with the first cluster comprising of two Cortex A73 cores, the second cluster comprising four Cortex A53 cores, and the third cluster consists of four Cortex A35 cores. Alongside the 10-cores, the Helio X30 also comes with a PowerVR 7XT GPU.
