Motorola is pushing Android 8.0 update to Moto Z phones

Motorola is rolling out the Android 8.0 update to selected Moto Z users which have been teased since last year when they announced that the older Z-series phones will be receiving the update. However, not everyone has received the update as certain users are reporting that the update has not arrived to their phones.

Based on an announcement that was made by Lenovo, they mentioned that the update is only available in Brazil for now, but they have confirmed that the US and European versions of the Moto Z will have to wait a while before the update arrives. The update comes in at 1.4GB and will contain the latest March security patch alongside Android 8.0. Motorola has not announced any dates or time frames on when all the Moto Z phones will get the Android 8.0 update but be sure to keep an eye out for updates and check if you have any pending updates.
