Movie goers are now given the privilege of choosing over more than fifty types of beverages at mmCineplexes as they introduce the new and exclusive “Coca-cola Freestyle 7000” water dispensing machine today. It is the very first in Malaysia and movie goers are able to try it first hand only at mmCineplexes, eCurve.
In collaboration with Coca-cola Malaysia, mmCineplexes have decided to bring in two Coca-cola Freestyle 7000 machine to let movie goers have the freedom to choose the beverages of their choice to enjoy while catching a movie. Malaysia is the second market in Asia Pacific to launch Coca-Cola Freestyle, whereas the first country to launch the machine is Singapore.
With the arising percentage of diabetes patients in Malaysia, the new Coca-cola Freestyle machine offers more than thirty types of beverages that are zero or low sugar options in line with the government’s initiative to reduce Malaysians sugar intake. There are also more than forty types of beverages that could only be found through the Coca-cola Freestyle machine as most of the beverages are not available in the market be it in packaged or ready to drink format.
The Coca-cola Freestyle adopts the patented PurePour Technology to combine selected ingredients into the water stream and True Carb Technology to ensure ideal cold carbonation, all to make the perfect beverage. Coca-cola, Sprite, Fanta, A&W, and Dasani can be combined or mixed with fruity drinks such as cherry and orange. The mango and lychee option is exclusively only available for Malaysians. Some of the interesting flavours that everyone should try is the Lychee Sprite Zero and A&W Rootbeer Zero Cherry Vanilla.
The Director of Marketing and Business Development of mmCineplexes Mr. Jason Teo have mentioned that even though for now the Coca-cola Freestyle could only be enjoyed at mmCineplexes eCurve, but there are already plans to expand which will only be confirmed and announced in the near future.
The Coca-cola Freestyle is now officially open to the public and mmCineplexes will be having an on going promotion till 14 November 2018, whereby movie goers who buys popcorn or food combo from the cinema do not need to pay and will get free drinks of their choice from the Coca-cola Freestyle machine. Once the promotion is over, movie goers would need to pay an extra RM1.50 to use the Coca-cola Freestyle machine should they want to choose from the beverages offered by the machine.

The rules are simple, just snap a photo of you enjoying your Coca-cola Freestyle, state what your favourite flavour is and why, then share it on your social media such as Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag #mmCineplexes, #CocaColaFreestyleMY and set your account to public.
