Mionix Releases the Castor Gaming Mouse

Last year, Mionix used KickStarter platform to find the fund to produce the world’s first smart gaming mouse that tracks your body reactions and provides you with insights into your performance. Mionix today releases their new gaming mice that named after one of the brightest stars in the night sky – Castor. It has a unique shape that designed for right-handed players with a different style of grip from palm, claw and fingertip grip.

The Castor’s also features 6-buttons allow you to click on your skills even faster than usual. Besides that, this mouse has a dedicated pinky- and ring-finger support-groove which makes it extremely comfortable to hold and lift. The sensor on the mouse features a PMW-3310 gaming grade optical sensor that has no positive or negative hardware acceleration, amazing accuracy, smooth tracking, and a maximum speed of more than 5.45m/sec (215 IPS).

In addition, the new lift-off distance (LOD) Calibration features a combination of Surface Quality Analyzer Tool (S.Q.A.T) with adjustment of the lift-off height to find the lowest possible LOD with optimized tracking. Inside the mouse is equipped with a 32 bit ARM processor that allows the mouse to have numerous gaming features without compromising the tracking of the sensor. Moreover, there will be a 128kb built-in memory to store your settings and recorded macro with you stored into up to different 5 profiles.
