Microsoft launches Surface Pro 8 and Surface Pro X (WiFi)

Besides the Surface Pro Duo 2, Microsoft has also introduced two new entries into the Surface Pro lineup – the Surface Pro 8 and Surface Pro X (WiFi).

Surface Pro 8

Like previously reported, this 2-in-1 hybrid laptop comes with a 13-inch PixelSense touch display with support for 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and Adaptive Color Technology.

The laptop doesn’t look all that different from the Surface Pro X, especially with its squarish design and thin bezels. It’s under the hood where things really change – you’re now looking at an 11th-Gen Intel Core processor which the brand claims is twice as fast as the previous Surface Pro 7.

The device ships with support for the company’s new Surface Pro Signature Keyboard and Surface Slim Pen 2, which connects to the tablet for charging.

The Surface Pro 8 is priced from $1,099.99.

Surface Pro X (WiFi)

This is sort of a refresh of last year’s Surface Pro X – this time, it ships with Windows 11 and 64-bit emulation built in. The product is now available in a WiFi-only variant which brings the cost down lower than before, at $899.

Like last year, the Surface Pro X runs on either a Microsoft SQ1 or SQ2 chipset. On top of that, Microsoft claims that you get a 15-hour battery life, a set of stereo speakers with support for Dolby Audio, and support for the Surface Slim Pen 2.

The Surface Pro X (WiFi) is priced from $899.99; however, there is no official word regarding the local launch and pricing yet.
