Microsoft has just released Office 2019 for Mac and Windows which comes with a range of upgrade that should make your workflow more smoother on the application. They also mentioned that a few of these new features will make their way to Office 365 ProPlus in the past three years.
Some of the new features that will come to Office 2019 are Focus Mode on Mac which will focus the window by hiding the clutter on the desktop, dark theme on Windows, improved inking features and accessibility like Read Aloud. On Powerpoint, it will get a new roaming pencil case, morph transitions, 4K video support and adding 3D models and SVG images. Excel is not left out as well as it comes with support for Office 365 Groups, mentions, focus inbox and new summaries for deliveries and travel.
As of now, the new Microsoft Office is available to trusted commercial volume customers, while regular customers will have to wait a few weeks before they can get their hands on it.
