Fashion designer brand Michael Kors has expanded into the tech industry, fusing both tech and glamour for their debut of two watches. Dylan and Bradshaw are two of Michael Kor’s first attempt on making Android Wear smartwatches.
Some of you may realize that both smartwatches have very similar aesthetics when compared to fellow luxury brand Fossil. This is largely due to the fact that Fossil is responsible for designing these watches, based on an agreement from two years ago. Nevertheless, both the Dylan and Bradshaw look very pleasing to the common eye. First off, the Dylan is catered towards male consumers. It features a 46mm casing with a 22mm silicone strap. The more female centric Bradshaw on the other hand, looks more flashy with a more metal look compared to the Dylan’s sporty touch. The Bradshaw sports a slightly smaller casing at 44.5mm, which isn’t much of a difference.
Both watches feature a 1.4-inch display of 320×290 resolution. The processing power relies on the Snapdragon 2100 chip, and both watches have 4GB of onboard storage. They also feature a speaker, which seems to be essential when Android Wear 2.0 arrives, but what’s absent is a heart rate sensor. Battery life is said to last from a day to two depending on usuage. The 360mAh battery will charge from 10% to 80% in 2 hours, and lastly, both the Dylan and Bradshaw are IP67 rated for dust and water resistance.
Both the Dylan and Bradshaw smartwatches are available today with a price tag of $350 (RM1,418.01), which seems fairly decent for a designer brand and when compared to other Android Wear smartwatches. What do you think?
