Although we are only a week away from Xiaomi’s unveiling of the Mi 5X, like most Chinese smartphones, the Mi 5X isn’t very much a secret anymore. The OnePlus 5 for instance, had its design exposed to the masses before it was launched, and the same goes for the Mi 5X, on purpose.
The above image the official image of the Xiaomi Mi 5X, and it is pretty much what we have expected. The company’s recent teaser image of the phone was held by a local Chinese celebrity, but this one gives us a clear and closer look of the said device.
As rumored before, the Mi 5X features a dual rear camera setup, making the whole rear panel look similar to the iPhone 7 Plus, with the exception of the rear fingerprint scanner placement. The Mi 5X will be another budget dual camera smartphone made available to consumers. It is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB of RAM.
The MI 5X has its launch date confirmed for the 26th of July, which is a week from now. Xiaomi has reportedly received over 200,000 registrations on its online store for the upcoming handset.
