Xiaomi is about to launch the Mi 10T series in less than a week, but thanks to a Twitter tipster named Sudhanshu Ambhore, the specs of both phones have been fully leaked.
Mi 10T series differs slightly as compared to the Mi 10 series
The Mi 10T series resembles the Mi 10 series, but there are a few distinctive features. For example, the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro will use LCD panels and support 144Hz display, even though they also have similar 6.67-inch displays. Another difference is the fingerprint sensor — the Mi 10T series uses the side-mounted fingerprint scanner instead of the under-screen sensor.
Mi 10T Pro has a 108MP lens, Mi 10T only comes with a 64MP camera
Another downgrade you’ll find with the Mi 10T is its cameras. The Mi 10T will have a 64MP lens paired with a 13MP ultra wide lens and a 5MP macro lens, while the pro variant has a 108MP camera like the Mi 10 Pro. The front camera remains the same — a 20MP shooter.
Slower charging, bigger battery
The new Xiaomi phones will come with a 5,000mAh battery each. Despite that, Xiaomi downgraded the charging speed to 33W, so the Mi 10T series is still inferior to their predecessors in this aspect. That being said, both devices are powered by a Snapdragon 865 chipset, 5G support and comes with 8GB RAM. The Mi 10T only has a single 128GB storage configuration whereas the pro model has up to 256GB storage.
According to Android Authority, the Mi 10T Pro is said to be priced from €699 (RM3,398.59) which is more affordable than the current Mi 10. The official price will be revealed in two days’ time, and we should be expecting its Malaysian pricing next week during its launch.
