Finally, Maxis customers will be able to see 5G on their smartphones tomorrow.
The telco has made the announcement this evening, where it will be introducing new 5G plans with double the data of existing offers, while having additional data specifically for 5G.
While the current Maxis Postpaid plans haven’t been updated at Maxis’ website at this time of writing, the telco has announced that its 5G Maxis Postpaid plans will be priced from RM79 to RM199 monthly, customers can also enjoy up to additional 100GB data depending on the plan, unlimited calls and SMS.
In addition, a wide range of 5G devices will be offered under Maxis Zerolution, where customers can split their device’s payment into 24-month or 36-month 0% installments with no upfront payment.
For Maxis Business Postpaid customers, the above benefits will also apply to the current plans with up to 100GB Productivity Data and comes with digital marketing solutions in their subscriptions, there’s also a RM10 monthly rebate for up to 12 months on any of the 5G postpaid plans for new and existing customers.
If you are a Hotlink Postpaid customer, 5G will be available at just RM70/month and comes with additional 35GB of 5G data, Hotlink Prepaid customers will then be able to enjoy 5G speeds when subscribed to 5G Internet Passes that costs RM45/month, which comes with 50GB + Bonus 25GB 5G data under the Hotlink Pantas Pass, or as low as RM15 per week for 15GB + Bonus 15GB 5G data.
In addition, youths below 24 years old can enjoy 20% cashback on the purchase of any monthly Internet passes.
Maxis Home WiFi 5G remains its usual RM158/month subscription price, offering unlimited 4G/5G speed and now comes with a premium 5G router for connectivity, though a 24-month contract should apply.
