Not too long ago, Maxis users around Malaysia has been complaining that their phone network service has not been working well and they were not able to surf online due to data problems.
With many complaining the problem online, Maxis was quick to pick up on the complaints and addressed the problem on their twitter account.
Dear customers,we’re currently experiencing service outage in several areas nationwide. Our engineers are working to resolve this now.We’ve observed gradual restoration of service in some areas, will provide further updates as soon as possible.We apologise for the inconvenience.

According to Maxis, the network issue was due to a technical fault and has later been restored. They have also added that they are still continuing to monitor the situation to ensure stability. For users who are still unable to connect to the internet, Maxis has suggested that they should restart their phone or make sure that their mobile data is turned on.
