Meizu has come into the light again, announcing a brand new smartphone. The Chinese manufacturer’s presence has been pretty much next to nothing outside of its home country, but the Meizu M5C is here to kick start Meizu’s ambitions to expand internationally again.
Meizu probably knows how important an international market reach is for its own growth. That is why the Meizu M5C is claimed to be designed for its international fans. The phone is designed in an array of attractive color options as shown in the image above, with a polycarbonate build. Display wise, the Meizu M5C sports a 5-inch screen in HD resolution.
Underneath the hood, the handset is powered by a quad core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz which is unspecified, plus 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Storage is further expandable for another 128GB via the micro SD card slot. The front and rear cameras of the Meizu M5C are of 5MP and 8MP respectively. A standard affair for entry level to mid range smartphones.
The phone packs a decently large battery for its power consumption needs – a 3,000mAh battery. An added bonus is that the Meizu M5C features dual SIM support.
The pricing of the Meizu M5C hasn’t been announced just yet, but knowing Meizu, it will probably be offered in a relatively budget price tag. What do you think?
