LG has a new budget tablet known as the G Pad F2 8.0

While that might turn out to be a mouthful when said out loud, the new tablet by LG shows that the company still has faith in the tablet industry despite its decline over the past couple of years. The LG G Pad F2 8.0 is the South Korean manufacturer’s latest offering in its tablet line, sporting decent specs for an affordable price tag.

First off, the G Pad F2 8.0 features an 8-inch display like its name states, coming in at 1280 x 800 resolution which is alright for a budget tablet. A MediaTek MT6750 processor powers the tablet, along with 2GB of RAM plus 16GB of internal storage.

Cameras on a tablet are definitely the least of our concerns and we hope the same applies to you too. Regardless, the G Pad F2 8.0 sports a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera, sufficient for the occasional video call. It packs a rather small 3,000mAh battery for a tablet, but is expandable thanks to the G Pad Pack Plus battery pack which will give an extra 4,400mAh.

The LG G Pad F2 8.0 comes with a price tag of $149.99 (RM 634.68), which sounds value for money if you’re looking for a simple and affordable media consumption device.
