One of the products we can look forward to during CES 2021 is the bendable OLED display from LG called the Bendable Cinematic Sound OLED.

This bendable OLED display can also be a flat screen when needed

The Bendable Cinematic Sound OLED (CSO) is a 48-inch display with variable refresh rates up to 120Hz. By pressing a button, the flat screen can bend into a curved screen with up to 1,000mm radius. In addition to that, SlashGear reported that it also has an in-display speakers that emit sounds via a 0.6mm film exciter. This allows the screen to remain slim while enhancing the experience with a more immersive audio.

LG also included eye care features and support for a 120Hz refresh rate

According to LG, the monitor is “optimised for gaming as it maximises the use of advanced technology”, so it should appeal more to gamers than casual users. It will also have eye care features so that gamers who spend longer hours on this monitor will not over-strain their eyes.

Apart from the Bendable Cinematic Sound OLED, LG will also be demonstrating several transparent OLED displays and a few rollable ones. The Bendable CSO should be one of the most interesting gaming displays from LG, but unfortunately its refresh rate maxes out at 120Hz — there are already brands like Samsung, Acer and Alienware that introduced 240Hz or 360Hz refresh rate in their gaming monitors.
