Lenovo has launched its second flagship smartphone powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset, called Z6 Pro. While it is similar to the Z5 Pro GT in a few areas, the new Lenovo Z6 Pro offers some major upgrades as well.

The Z6 Pro sports a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display panel with a waterdrop notch at the top and an under-display fingerprint scanner. Running on Qualcomm’s latest flagship mobile chipset, the phone comes with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. A variant with a whopping 12GB RAM and 512GB storage will be on offer as well.

On the back of the phone is an impressive quad-camera setup. You get a 16MP wide-angle snapper, 48MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a 2MP camera for video enhancements. Housed inside the waterdrop notch on the front of the phone is a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

In terms of battery life, the Lenovo Z6 Pro should fare much better than its predecessor. The phone packs a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging as well as reverse charging support. As for software, the Z6 Pro runs on ZUI 11 based on Android 9 Pie. The Lenovo Z6 Pro starts at CNY 2,899 (RM1,779) in China for the base variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and goes up to CNY 4,799 (RM2,945) for the 12GB + 512GB variant. It will be available and Red and Green color options in China starting April 29. A 5G variant of the phone is expected to arrive in China later this year.
