Apart from smart devices like smart displays and tablets, Lenovo announced a series of new laptops today, including the Yoga laptop models that are able to run on 10th Generation Intel Core processors.
Yoga C640 specifications
The Yoga C640 is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop with a 13.3-inch FHD touchscreen display with an IPS panel. Weighing at less than 1.3kg, it has stereo speakers integrated with Dolby Atmos and supports Cortana and Alexa. It is powered by up to 10th Generation Intel Core i7 processors and can sport up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of PCIe SSD storage. It’s also reported to have 20 hours worth of battery life and will support WiFi 5 and WiFi 6.
Yoga C740 specifications
The Yoga C740 is also a convertible laptop with a touchscreen display and Dolby Atmos. However, it comes in a 14-inch model and a 15-inch model. You can either opt for the IPS with Dolby Vision display or the VESA400 HDR with Dolby Vision. While the 14-inch model weighs from 1.37kg, the bigger model weighs from 1.85kg. Like the C640, these laptops also come with Dolby Atmos.
Under the hood, the C740 supports up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB PCIe SSD storage. However, the 14-inch laptop also offers 32GB + 512GB Intel Optane Memory H10 storage. Both laptops support WiFi 5 and WiFi 6 but while the 14-inch model can only last up to 13.7 hours, the other can last up to 15 hours and has Rapid Charge.
Yoga C940 specifications
The Yoga C940 also comes in 14-inch and 15-inch models. The display can support FHD or UHD resolution and also come with VESA DisplayHDR 400. Not only does it come with a Dolby Atmos speaker system, its rotating sound bar paired with two base speakers. The 14-inch C940 weighs at 1.35kg while the 15-inch C940 weighs at 1.9kg.
The 14-inch model is available with up to 10th Generation Intel Core i7 processors paired with Intel UHD 960 graphics while the 15-inch model has up to 9th Generation Intel Core i9 processors paired with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics. As for its storage configuration, customers can opt up to 1TB PCIe SSD storage or Intel Teton Glacier 32GB + 1TB storage.
With FHD display, its 14-inch model can last up to 17.5 hours and its 15-inch model can last up to 12 hours. The latter also has Rapid Charge that gives an extra two hours of battery life with just 15 minutes of charging.
Yoga S740 specifications
The Yoga S740 isn’t a 2-in-1 convertible laptop like the rest, but it does come with similar display options like the C940 like VESA400 HDR support and also Dolby Vision. Weighing at 1.4kg and 1.45kg respectively, the laptop models also have Dolby Atmos speaker system, but its 15-inch model also comes with Smart AMP.
Under the hood, the 14-inch S740 can run up to 10th Generation Intel Core i7 processor while the 15-inch model can run up to 9th Generation Intel Core i9 processor. The storage configuration can go up to 16GB RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD storage. The 14-inch model has a 15-hour battery life while the 15-inch model has a 14-hour battery life with Rapid Charge.
The Lenovo Yoga C740, S740 and C940 (14-inch) will be available from September onwards while the Yoga C940 (15-inch) and the C640 will only arrive in October.
