Project Athena is essentially a set of requirements set by Intel for lightweight, thin workhorse laptops – Intel will test these devices and give them the Athena certification if all conditions are met.
Joining the project is Lenovo – they’ve refreshed the 14-inch ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptop that’s equipped with 10th-Gen Intel Core i7 processor. Memory configurations remain unchanged with up to 16GB RAM and up to 2TB PCIe SSD for storage.
The laptop measures a 14.9mm in thickness and weighs only 1kg, plus it comes with a backlit keyboard.
It also offers optimized battery life which Lenovo claims will get you up to 18.5 hours of productivity. There’s WiFi 6 connectivity along with 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon is priced from USD1,479 starting this September – Malaysian prices will be disclosed at a later date,
Moving on, the ThinkPad X1 Yoga also sees an upgrade to the 10th-Gen Intel Core i7 CPU along with the same memory configurations as the X1 Carbon.
This is also a 14-inch laptop, but being a Yoga series device, you can flip the monitor 180-degrees to use as a tablet. Speaking of, its display is compatible with ThinkPad pens.
This laptop is priced from USD1,609 and will also be available next month. Again, Malaysian prices will be disclosed at a later date,
