Lenovo finally launched the Lenovo Z5s in China on 18 December, and the smartphone is Lenovo’s first smartphone to come with a waterdrop notch.
Unlike the expectations that the Z5s will come with a punch-hole display, the phone has a 6.3-inch FHD+ waterdrop display, and it has a fingerprint sensor on its back. It comes with a 2.5D curved glass on its front and back and has a USB-C port. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor and runs on Android Pie 9.0. It has either 4/6GB RAM that comes with either 64/128GB storage.
The phone is also housing a triple rear camera setup which includes a 16MP primary sensor, a 8MP secondary sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone has a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The phone also comes with a 3300mAh battery that supports Quick Charge.
The Lenovo Z5s comes in three colours; Titanium Blue, Honey Orange and Starry Black. It will cost CNY 1398 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, and CNY1598 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB variant. The highest end of the model which has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will cost CNY1898, and the sales of the phone will officially begin on 24 December.
