Lenovo Malaysia to unveil the VIBE Shot next week

The VIBE Shot is one of the most anticipated Lenovo smartphones this year announced back in Mobile World Congress 2015, it features an attractive design that looks like a slim point and shoot camera and a 16-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation is onboard the phone. Be very excited, because Lenovo Malaysia is launching the VIBE Shot next week as we have just received an invite to check out the company’s first ever smartphone targeted at smartphone photographers.

Powered by a Snapdragon 615 system on chip with 3GB of RAM, the VIBE Shot is a powerful mid-range device that sports a 5-inch Full HD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 32GB of internal storage with expandable memory support, a front facing 8-megapixel camera and a huge 3000mAh battery under that 7.3mm body profile. The VIBE Shot is also a Dual SIM smartphonethat supports LTE networks and comes preloaded with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with VIBE UI running on top.

The announcement of the VIBE Shot will serve as a direct competition to a few Chinese smartphones, including vivo x5Pro, Oppo R7 series and Xiaomi’s Mi 4i, which all are Snapdragon 615 powered smartphones. The VIBE Shot can also be considered as the successor to the VIBE X2 which we have reviewed previously, so do expect the VIBE Shot to be priced around RM1600 at launch.
