Taking the same route as rivals ASUS and Razer, Lenovo is reportedly exploring the gaming smartphone market with their Legion brand – signalling competition to the ROG Phone and Razer Phone.
Lenovo has been quiet in the smartphone department of late so this comes out of left flank – promotional posters had been spotted on Weibo suggesting the phone could be powered by a Snapdragon 865 chipset, equipping it with 5G support at the same time.
In the poster, we see the signature Legion ‘Y’ logo in there too, hinting of the phone’s existence. Another poster also suggest that the device will benchmark above 600,000 points, which is way above the ROG Phone 2, which is arguably the most powerful to date – which isn’t unlikely with a newer Snapdragon 865 and LPDDR5 memory.
