We’re nearing Google’s October 4th event as the days fly by, as more leaks regarding the Pixel and Pixel XL handsets come pouring in generous amounts, an image of a case has surfaced online, said to be for the Pixel XL. And not only that, the case is being compared to first “Flagship Killer”, the OnePlus One.
According to Android Headlines, the leak source has just decided to conveniently compare the alleged Pixel XL cased to a OnePlus One, seen with a case on as well, in the image above. While the leaked image may seem meaningless just by looking at it, the image actually tells us a lot about the size of the Pixel XL itself. The rumors regarding the display size of the Pixel XL are either 5.5-inches or 5.7-inches. 5.7-inches might seem more sensible, given the fact that the Nexus 6P sports a display of that size. On the other hand, some have speculated that Google, with HTC has decided to downsize the screen for the next refresh.
If the leaked image happens to be legitimate for any reason at all, then it will be supporting the rumor that the Pixel XL will be featuring a 5.5-inch display. The rest of the specs include either an updated version of the Snapdragon 820 or 821 chipset with 4GB of RAM. The camera is said to remain at 12MP with a couple of improvements from last year’s Nexus 6P. Let us know your thoughts at the comments section below!
