LEAGOO has decided to reveal its latest flagship device today, and this time, the company is priotitizing the longevity of the smartphone. Collaborating with local heartthrob and new LEAGOO Ambassador Zul Ariffin, the company has revealed the Shark 1.
As mentioned, LEAGOO has decided to focus on the lifespan of the smartphone when it comes to the Shark 1. As such, it features a 6,300mAh Li-Po battery that is capable of lasting up to 45 days on standby with a single charge. Under normal and heavy usage, the Shark 1 is expected to last up to 3.5 days and two days respectively.
If that isn’t enough, LEAGOO has also implemented fast charge technology into the Shark 1. Thanks to the smartphone’s Pump Express Flash Charge 9V/3A technology, the phone is able to gain a full day’s worth of usage with just 30 minutes of charging time. Furthermore, thanks to the Shark 1’s large battery capacity, the smartphone can also act as a powerbank, allowing you to charge up to two other devices at once thanks to its Reverse Charging functionality.
Even though the Shark 1 comes with a large battery capacity, LEAGOO did not compromise on the phone’s design nor performance. The Shark 1 sports a dynamic metal Unibody design that has a thickness of 8.5 mm and curved edges from the side to the corner of the device, giving it the much vaunted premium aesthetic that all smartphones aim for. For performance, the Shark 1 is powered by a MediaTek 64-bit Octa Core processor, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage which is expendable to up to 128GB via microSD card.
Other features of the Shark 1 include LEAGOO’s Fingerprint Sensor 3.0 which offers an improved fingerprint precision and better response time from as fast as 0.39s. Aside from unlocking the phone, said fingerprint scanner can also be used for photo-taking and launching apps. Speaking of the camera, the Shark 1 sports a Sony 13MP BSI-2 stacked rear camera with an LED flash and an f/2.0 lens. As for the front, the Shark 1 comes with a 5MP camera with front LED flash.
The LEAGOO Shark 1 is now available and retails for RM 999.
