We’re less than two days away from OnePlus’ launch of its new handset. Both Qualcomm and OnePlus have dropped a big hint respectively regarding the processor of the future handset, which is the flagship Snapdragon 821 chipset. OnePlus has teased us yet again, this time on Chinese micro blogging site Weibo, probably confirming to us another long time rumor that has been floating around since the start.

OnePlus has uploaded a teaser image onto Weibo, with a OnePlus 3 looking handset facing a mirror. The mirror image shows part of the handset’s front panel, along with a “T”, which happens to be the same patterned “T” seen on OnePlus’ teasers on its social media accounts for the past few days – T-4, T-3, etc. The teaser image also had a tagline which says’ “to be a better me”. This image might just confirm the OnePlus 3T name that has been rumored and used all this while, though the “T” might stand for something else rather than just the letter itself.

Nevertheless, the OnePlus 3T has been confirmed to feature a Snapdragon 821 processor. Other rumored upgrades from the standard OnePlus 3 include a different camera sensor, increased battery capacity and an addtional storage option of 128GB. The upcoming OnePlus handset is expected to come with Android Nougat out of the box, and to cost $80 more than the OnePlus 3 at $479 (RM2,081.06). We only have a little over a day left till the new OnePlus flagship makes its appearance. Let’s hope it doesn’t disappoint. What do you think?
