OnePlus 6 has just received a new update that brings about fixes for its screen flicker issues and improves the HDR mode. This comes in the OxygenOS 5.1.11 which comes with a size of 152MB and brings other fixes and optimizations.
They also updated the PIN lock screen where previously, users will have to tap on the check mark button after inputting their PIN. Now, there is no need to press the check mark button and if the PIN is correct it will immediately get you into the home screen. Other than that, it comes with stability optimization for WiFi connection, not a lot of people have this issue but it is nice to know that they are rectifying the issue for the minority of users that have the issue. Lastly, they are also optimizing network connection which should give you a more stable data connection.
OnePlus is working hard in improving their current generation phones as the OnePlus 3/3T, 5/5T and 6 will be receiving the Android Pie update very soon. The update is currently out and if you have a OnePlus 6, head over to your Update page and download it now.
